Women in Orthopedics: Deformity Correction Course

The Women in Orthopedics: Deformity Correction Course is designed to advance expertise in orthopedic deformity correction as well as bring together female orthopedic surgeons to network, share knowledge, and collaborate with peers and esteemed faculty members in the field. During this course, participants will have the chance to enhance their skills with hands-on training and connect with women professionals in orthopedics. Learning Objectives include:

• Address biomechanical principles of bone stabilization and safe application of circular external fixation and internal lengthening nail.
• Become familiar with internal and external fixation solutions for adult and pediatric deformity correction applications.
